2024 Ford Bronco
After returning with a bang for the 2021 model year, the Ford Bronco is back and better than ever. The latest Bronco is perfect for heading off the beaten path with a top and doors that you can take off, leaving your ride experience open to the outdoors. Here are the best features of the 2024 Ford Bronco.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
For 2024, the Ford Bronco is available in six main trims: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak. Outside the main trims is the beefy, off-road-ready Raptor, bringing the total options up to seven. You can also choose from various roof options along with two-door or four-door models. The Base rolls down the road or trail on 16-inch steel wheels adorned with 30-inch all-season tires and includes tow hooks. You get a soft top if you go with a four-door or a hard top if you opt for a two-door. Choosing the Big Bend adds 17-inch alloy wheels with 32-inch all-terrain tires, a unique grille, and LED fog lights.
Upgrade to the Black Diamond to get skid plates, a black grille, rock rails, 17-inch black-painted steel wheels, and heavy-duty front and rear bumpers. Opt for the Outer Banks to add 18-inch aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires, side step rails, and upgraded LED headlights. Move up to Wildtrak to get a unique aesthetic thanks to exclusive graphics. Finally, the Raptor offers exclusive styling elements along with 17-inch wheels with 37-inch all-terrain tires.
Engine (Power)
The standard engine for the 2024 Ford Bronco is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder putting out 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. You can opt for one of two transmissions: the standard seven-speed manual or the available 10-speed automatic transmission. The second engine is a turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 coupled with the 10-speed automatic transmission that makes 330 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Finally, we have a turbocharged 3.0-liter engine exclusive to the Raptor that will crank out over 400 horsepower.
Performance
Among the performance features of the 2024 Ford Bronco are hill descent control and hill start assist to help you easily tackle any grade of incline. Opt for the Black Diamond trim to get a seven-mode terrain management system that allows you to tweak the ride characteristics to fit your preferences or the current terrain. Finally, the Badlands offers a front stabilizer bar disconnect and an exclusive suspension system.
Interior
Beginning with the Base trim of the 2024 Ford Bronco, interior features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, push-button start, cloth upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen powering a six-speaker audio system featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite radio. Opt for the Big Bend to get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a shift knob. For ease of cleanup after getting dirty on the trail, the Black Diamond offers rubber flooring and vinyl upholstery. Other interior features are ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen, and a wireless charging pad.
Safety Features
The 2024 Ford Bronco offers many standard safety features, such as automatic emergency braking, trail turn assist, trailer sway dampening, and an advanced airbag system.
